Kelvinbridge

Kelvinbridge is part of the Hillhead / West End area really I suppose,  but is a real hub of an area so deserves a separate mensh. This is the view looking down Gt Western Rd into town. . .

Caledonian Mansions

This used to be a popular and long-established ironmongers - George's - which was taken over a by a nice Sikh family for a while and  has now become a sort of boutiquey place - also run by nice people, must be something about the shop. The new people found the sign above under the later accretions
